For these reasons.. keep your pet dogs out of your bed :

The Pet Products Association of America conducted a poll according to which nearly half of Americans let their dogs sleep with them in the same bed, while Care2 asked a question about pets, especially dogs that everyone loved, and what could they have been allowed to share a bed with?

The answer is no, for 3 convincing reasons that the puppy must obtain its own independent pillow and that the person should keep his bed for himself, according to the following:

Effect on sleep quality :

Unlike human bed partners, dogs cause insomnia, perhaps because they do not understand human needs for sleep. Also, some types of dogs can take over an entire king-size bed, as their body is large and can weigh about 19 kg.

According to a recent study from MayoClinic, sleeping with a dog in the same bed can significantly reduce sleep efficiency, even if a person does not feel it. And it can go even further as it is said that the presence of a dog in your bedroom has been proven to have a negative impact on sleep quality, so do not hesitate to arrange a place for your dog to sleep away from your bed or bedroom if possible.

health hazard :

While some scientific research has proven that having pets in homes actually contributes to strengthening the immune system, sleeping dogs in the bedroom can have the opposite effect, especially if they are infected with ticks. And if the residence is in an area where ticks congregate, dogs will undoubtedly get their share of ticks. When sleeping in their owners' bed, ticks crawl freely from dogs to humans, putting them at risk of Lyme disease. Lyme disease, which is transmitted as soon as you are bitten by a tick, can be quite devastating to your health, so avoid sleeping with your dog to limit exposure to ticks. Spending time petting dogs is fine, but care must be taken if they are infested with ticks.

Negative effect on control and dominance :

It is important to set clear rules for dogs, especially if they have tendencies towards dominance or aggression against humans or other animals. Allowing your dog to jump on and off the bed whenever he wants can encourage the dog to feel like an independent decision-maker, which means that he may not gradually be obedient.

Be firm and decisive with your dog. Over time, you have to train him to wait for permission to do anything that keeps the relationship between you and him in a healthy balance, and there is the added benefit of keeping the white pillows clean for a long time without your dog walking on muddy legs from the garden or street!
