The top-selling car rankings varied during the first quarter of the 20021 year, with different categories between sedan, USV and pickup, although the pandemic continued. In addition to the problem of the shortage of semiconductors and chips used in engine management and driver assistance systems, competition among global companies is becoming concretely visible and everyone is emerging in delivering the best models to consumers of all kinds.
On top truck sales during the first quarter of the 2021 year, pickup trucks occupied the top sales positions in these first three months of 2021, followed by Ace UV, Cross Over and Sedans during the top-selling car arrangement according to Carr & Drive.
- Ford's pickup truck came in first place with a total sales of 203,797 trucks.
- In the second place the Dodge Ram came to topple Silverado's Chevrolet, after selling 148,836 copies, with Ram's sales during the first quarter rising by 16%, the fifth generation of which had been released in 2019, and 2021 models with new options in the truck's cloud group.
- The pickup "Chevrolet Silverado" came in third with a total sales of 124,704 copies.
- "Toyota Raf4" earned fourth place after selling 114,255 copies.
- In fifth place came Honda Crossover with 93,766 car sales.
- The Nissan Rogue came in sixth place after selling 86,720 cars, known as the Nissan X-Trail, in some countries.
- And the Toyota Camry took seventh place with sales of 78,151 cars.
- The Toyota Corolla debuted at number eight worldwide with sales of 72,520 cars.
- Toyota Tacoma came in ninth with a total sales of 66,449 cars.
- And in tenth place, the Ford Explorer came up with sales of 65,244 cars.
